In the afternoon of April 20, Jing Wang, Member of the Standing Committee of the Tianjin Municipal Committee of the CPPCC and director of the Science and Technology Education Committee of the CPPCC, and a 12-member delegation visited the Institute, focusing on the topic of "actively promoting the construction of Tiankai Higher Education Science and Technology Park and improving the effectiveness of science and technology entrepreneurship and transformation of results".Shengyong Chen, Standing Committee Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of Tianjin University of Technology, and Professor Tie Wang, Assistant to the President of Tianjin University of Technology and Director of the Life and Health Intelligent Research Institute, accompanied the research.

Professor Tie Wang welcomed the arrival of Director Jing Wang and his delegation, and expressed his appreciation to the Tianjin Municipal Government for this research arrangement.After that, relevant teachers introduced in detail to Director Jing Wang and other leaders the background of the establishment of the institute, its development characteristics and current situation, as well as some project results that have been achieved so far and future research plans in new technology areas.

Director Jing Wanggave full affirmation to the scientific research achievements made by the institute, especially highly valued the disease exhaled gas detection gas sensor and medical high performance ion mobility spectrum.Director Jing Wang pointed out that these two projects complement each other and once the adaptation is successful, they will be particularly suitable for general screening of respiratory infectious diseases, cancer and chronic diseases in the future, such as norovirus, influenza A, diabetes and lung cancer and other related diseases, which will not only ease the tension of medical resources, but also reduce the pain and economic burden of patients, which is of great significance to the future development of the medical industry.
