Introduction of Instrument

Multi-functional enzyme labeling instrument, also known as multi-functional microplate reader, can provide a variety of different modes of detection for experiments using microplates as the system. The Microplate Reader SpectraMax iD3 features light absorption, fluorescence and chemiluminescence detection.

Working Principle

The Microplate Reader is actually a variable phase photoelectric colorimeter or spectrophotometer, its basic working principle and main structure and photoelectric colorimeter is basically the same. Light emitted by the light source lamp light wave through the filter or monochromator into a beam of monochromatic light, into the plastic microtiter plate to be tested samples, the monochromatic light is partially absorbed by the sample, the other part of the samples through the sample irradiation to the photoelectric detector, photoelectric detector will be different due to the different samples to be tested and the strength of the light signal is converted into the corresponding electrical signals, the electrical signals by the preamplification, logarithmic amplification, analog-to-digital converter and other signal processing is sent to the microprocessor for data processing and calculations, and finally display the results.
