On December 16, 2023, Prof. GaoLin Liang from Southeast University was invited to our institute and gave a lecture entitled "Self-assembly Based Diagnosis and Treatment New Strategy".Prof. Tie Wang, vice-chancellorof Tianjin University of Technology and Dean of the Life and Health Intelligent Research Institute, chaired the presentation, The students and faculty of the institute attended the presentation.
Before the presentation, Prof. Tie Wang, on behalf of all the teachers and students of the Institute, warmly welcomed the arrival of Prof. GaoLin Liang and briefly introduced Prof. Liang academic background, research direction and scientific research achievements to the audience.
At the beginning of the presentation, Prof. GaoLin Liang firstly introduced the two major research directions of his group: one is molecular imaging based on CBT-Cys click reaction, and the other is supramolecular self-assembly.Taking the group's early research in imaging analysis as an introductory point, Prof. Liang focused on the specific research content done by the group in recent years in supramolecular self-assembly and FF supramolecular self-assembly based as well as diagnostic and therapeutic strategies based on CBT-Cys click reaction self-assembly.
At the end of the report, the participating teachers and students actively exchanged views on issues of interest with Prof. Liang, who patiently and meticulously explained the issues raised. Finally, Prof. Tie Wang summarized Prof. Liang's report and hoped that all the teachers and students could find their own core technologies and then turn them into their strengths, so that they could walk farther and more solidly on the road of scientific research.
This presentation provided a good learning opportunity for our teachers and students, teachers and students benefited greatly, not only make the teachers and students to develop academic horizons, and at the same time stimulate the enthusiasm of teachers and students in scientific research, and provide effective help to carry out relevant scientific research in the future.
