On May 25, Dr. Jose R. Oliveira, Senior Publishing Director of Wiley Publishing Group, visited the Institute and had a discussion with some of our faculty members.Prof.Tie Wang, Assistant to the President of Tianjin University of Technology and Dean of the Life and Health Intelligent research Institute attended the exchange meeting.

During the symposium, Associate Researcher Zhenjie Xue introduced to several editors the background of the establishment of the Institute, its talent team, main achievements and future development vision, and gave a detailed introduction to several products such as our self-developed gas sensors for disease exhalation detection.

Afterwards, Associate Researcher Xinyuan Zhou, the developer of the electronic nose, demonstrated the testing and performance of the instrument on four disease-related markers in the exhaled breath and explained the close connection between these indicators and certain diseases in the subject's body.

Dr. Jose R. Oliveira and others spoke highly of our research products, while briefly introducing the history and overview of Wiley Publishing Group to the participants.He said that Wiley Group is paying more and more attention to the cooperation with Chinese universities and research institutes, and welcomed the young teachers in the audience can submit more high-quality and interesting research results to Wiley's journals, so as to better serve the general researchers and knowledge scholars.

At the end of the symposium, Prof. Tie Wang hoped that Wiley Group could carry out more academic exchanges and cooperation with our institute in the future, and both sides could play their respective advantages to contribute to the development of international and domestic research undertakings.
