Introduction of Instrument

Infrared tablet press is a kind of compact, labor-saving, convenient and strong manual hydraulic tablet press designed for the preparation of powder specimen tablets for infrared spectrometer, which can also be used for other pressure tests.

Working Principle

The press is designed according to the hydraulic principle that the force acting on two pistons is proportional to the cross-sectional area of these two pistons. When the drain valve is tightened and the handle is moved repeatedly to make the small plunger reciprocate, the inhaled oil is pressed into the oil cavity of the large piston, thus pushing the large piston up, and when the large piston is blocked from rising, the pressure gauge shows the pressure value.

Notices

1. Spectrally pure KBr is required, and the sample and KBr must be dried in advance before testing.

2. The ratio of sample to KBr during compression is about 1:200.

3. Grinding must be ground sufficiently until no obvious particles can be seen, and the pressed piece should be transparent without obvious cracks or local whitening, otherwise it may affect the test results.

4. Pressing abrasives must be wiped clean with ethanol after use and put away.

5. Please do not throw away the samples after measurement, but put them in the recycling bottle next to you.
